From then until now.
I already knew exactly what kind of game I wanted to make before I even had this class because I had learned from previous students what is expected of us in Game Design 1. So most of the work I have been doing is shaping my ideas rather than coming up with them. The challenging part was the view of how I wanted to make my game. This was the hardest part period because I had to scrap every visual in my head because this game maker isn't exactly top notch programming. I know that I have to crawl before I walk and am rolling with the punches. Throughout some sketching of levels I figured out how I want it to look but am still toying with my exact visual style. I am feeling the simple color aspects of the enviroments and for sounds I might even record a couple of my own. I have been working on my presentation all morning because I do not ever wanted to be considered disappointing ever ever again. I can understand your point and all though. So far the story is just about all together there except a few minute details that I plan on banging out soon enough. I have come up with a time clock and a "poop-o-meter" that I am extremely happy with. I like the look of my people and cars but I still would like to adjust the look of my birds. I may do them from scratch like I my whole level design straight from a doodle I was toying with. This weekend I plan on working on my proposal I am actually nearly finished with all the technical aspects of writing it and just now need to add images and such. I also need to scan my sketches to add to the proposal but will have something I am proud to present to you and my fellow classmates. More updates as I get them..
